My name is Matthew Schuster and I am an athlete. I have been involved with Special Olympics since I was 5 years old.

I have played many sports like basketball, softball, hockey, golf, bocce and swimming. I still compete in 5 different sports throughout the year. My favorite and most successful sport is swimming. My hard work and determination has earned me a spot to represent Team New York at the 2026 USA Games in Minneapolis from June 20-26th to compete against athletes from all 50 states.
