2026 USA Games Fundraising: Samantha Esposito

My name is Samantha Esposito, and I am a Special Olympics Athlete. I have been participating in Special Olympic sports for over 10 years. I will be compeiting in Power Lifting at USA Games, and I am so excited. I also compete in soccer, basketball, ans softball.

I was hooked on competing in Special Olympics after I played soccer with HBC coached by Mike Ludin. It took a lot of encouragement from my family and friends to join each team. I have met so many great people, players and coaches. I have friendships that I would never have had.

Playing these sports has also helped me be healthy and strong. I have learned sportsmanship, experienced the joy of winning and the disappointment of losing. All of it has made me a better person.
