I’ve always dreamed of running the NYC Marathon, and it feels especially meaningful to do it with Team Special Olympics. Training for a marathon is one of the hardest challenges I’ve taken on but it’s small compared to what so many people face every day.
This marathon is about so much more than 26.2 miles. I'm running because this cause has touched my life in a way I will never forget. There are people who mean a lot to me who face battles that are far more difficult than anything I will experience in my training or on race day. When my legs are tired, when I want to give up, and when the finish line feels impossibly far away, I will remember why I started. I will run for the people who can't. I will run for the families who need hope. I will run for the lives that this organization changes every day.
I've set a goal to raise $4,000, and I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps make a real difference. Thank you for supporting this cause and helping make every mile matter.
