Hi!! I'm so excited to share that I'll be running the 2026 New York City Marathon with Team Special Olympics New York! As I've wrapped up my four years at Vanderbilt (and finally hung up the cleats), I've had the chance to reflect on just how profoundly sports have shaped my life, and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for everything they’ve given me.
That's why I'm honored to represent an organization dedicated to ensuring that every athlete has the opportunity to experience the same confidence, joy, and sense of community that sports have given me. Special Olympics NY provides year-round training and competition to more than 45,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities at no cost to them or their families.
As a goalie, it's safe to say that 26.2 miles is a bit outside my comfort zone… but I'm absolutely thrilled to take on this new challenge (training on a campus as beautiful as Notre Dame definitely takes the edge off!).
My goal is to raise $4,000, and I am unbelievably grateful for any donation, no matter the size! Thank you so much for your support of the extraordinary athletes at Special Olympics New York, and I’m so excited to share this experience with you!
