As many of you know my son Cullen is differently adbeled and faced many difficulties everyday. However over the past couple of years the special Olympics has helped him to find a place to make new  friends, reconnect with old friends and become part of a team. He has participated on both the  Unified Basketball and Unified bowling  teams at his high school and has also join the unified club at school. This has helped him to make friends and come out of his shell a bit. It has even helped him to find other clubs that will be open to him as he becomes older and transitions into being an adult.
