FREEZIN' FOR A REASON TAKE 3!!

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

I am inviting you to be part of an incredible event that promotes inclusion, raises funds, and empowers athletes in our community. As an active member in the Special Olympics community and the founder of the Inclusion Club “Include the Blue” at my school, I have seen firsthand the transformative impact of your support on our athletes’ lives.

On November 23rd, brave participants will take a dip into the waters of Lake George to raise funds for Special Olympics New York. This awesome event is more than just a jump in the icy waters; it’s a chance to demonstrate our commitment to inclusion and support for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities who partake in both Special Olympics and Unified Sports.

Your incredibly generous donations provide essential resources that make opportunities like unified bowling and basketball possible. Programs that I love, and have made lifelong connections in.  These programs are not just sports; they are opportunities for friendship, teamwork, and personal growth. Without the help of donors like you, many athletes would miss out on these life-changing experiences.

This experience has been life changing for me, putting my actions into perspective. For example, last year I raised $4,700 which covered 10 SONY athletes' yearly sports expenses. This year, I would like to make it 15! Please help me reach my goal of $7,500!

As a community, I hope that we can ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to compete, thrive, and feel included. I am so grateful for your support and can’t wait to see the impact we can make together.
