My name is Jennifer and this is my 4th year taking the plunge! My reason for freezing is my Momma! Jolene participated in the Oneida Shores Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics NY athletes for 13 years!! This cause was near and dear to her heart and I want to keep her passion alive!  I hope to raise as much money as she did, so we can sponsor athletes in her memory.  

This year, my children have committed to plunging a third time in their Grandma’s honor!  They are adamant that they help out this wonderful cause, mostly because they remember their Grandma raising money by sewing, sewing, and sewing!  They also helped her take the virtual plunge in 2020 by soaking her with squirt guns and water balloons!!  They LOVED that!!
