This December I am participating in the Polar Plunge. I adore being a part of the Unified Sports and Leadership Program because I love spending my time playing sports and hanging out with my teammates. I learn from them as much as they learn from me. They have the biggest hearts and are sweeter than a cookie. 
        By being a part of the Unified Program I have learned that no matter what kind of disabilities you have and/or struggle with, you can still play sports and be successful as someone who doesn’t struggle with disabilities, The Unified Sports and Leadership Program had made a positive impact on me  because I look at people a lot differently. I see the world in a bigger picture. I’ve learned that anybody can play sports no matter the disability.
