Last year, I told Clarence High School students I’d do the Polar Plunge if they raised $5,000. I figured that was a safe bet. They absolutely crushed that goal—and I found myself sprinting into a lake that felt like it had ice cubes with opinions.
This year, I’m doing it again! Yep, voluntarily jumping into freezing cold water for an incredible cause (and possibly to prove I’ve learned nothing). It’s going to be a sight to see—equal parts school spirit, bravery, and bad decision-making.
If you’d like to support this awesome initiative (and my continued questionable life choices), please consider donating! Your generosity will make a huge difference—plus, the colder the water, the warmer my heart… eventually. ❄❤
Help me reach my fundraising goal as I take the plunge for Special Olympics NY. Your donations mean more now than ever before.
Your support will directly affect the ability for the athletes of Special Olympics NY to participate in trainings, activities, and competitions at no cost to them or their caregivers.
