My brother Tommy has Down Syndrome and since he was born, I have been "Freezin' for a Reason" and doing the Polar Plunge that benefits Special Olympics in Tommy's honor.

Our team is made up entirely of young people - and we are beyond proud of Team ExtraOrdinary (named after Tommy's extra chromosome). We are continuing the tradition as we are now in year #11.  In the first 10 years we have raised over $100,000 as a team.   thank you to all who support this cause!

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Your support will directly affect the ability for Special Olympic NY athletes to participate in trainings, activities, and competitions at no cost to them or their caregivers.
