I am a Special Education Teacher at Mary Cariola, where I’ve had the privilege of working for 27 years. Many of my current and former students have had the opportunity to participate in the Special Olympics, and it is always a highlight of their year. They look forward to the events with so much joy and pride!

This year, I’ve accepted the challenge to take the Rochester Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics New York — and I’m adding a twist! I will go into the water, but I will only go as far as the money I raise.
