❄ I’m Taking the Rochester Polar Plunge for Special Olympics New York! ❄
I’ve accepted the challenge to take the Rochester Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics New York.
As a Special Education teacher in the Rochester City School District, I serve students in elementary Autism/ special education classrooms every day. I see firsthand the incredible strength, joy, resilience, and potential of neurodiverse children and I believe with my whole heart that every child deserves opportunities to belong, thrive and be celebrated.
“Neurodiversity is not a flaw — it is a beautiful reflection of how creatively God designed the human mind.”
Your donation will directly support Special Olympics New York athletes, helping provide:
Free year-round sports training
Confidence, leadership, and life skills
Friendship, belonging, and community
Opportunities to live life to the fullest — at no cost to athletes or their families!
Together, we can create a more inclusive community, celebrate differences, and show our children what it looks like to lead with love, courage, and faith.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing my page — every contribution makes a meaningful impact.
Thank you for believing in inclusion and acceptance ❄
