The third annual Team Cathy Polar Plunge honors my mother, Catherine Margaret Miller who passed away from a long battle with cancer on 4/13/23. My mother was the strongest person I know and she has inspired the family to keep fighting on. Her legacy was family first above all else, and perseverance despite the obstacles.  What better way to celebrate her strength and legacy than to honor her on this day and take the plunge. In doing so we honor not only her, but anyone who has battled cancer, their families and friends. 

To cap it off, it’s all being done for a great cause to raise money for the special Olympics, something mom would have been proud to been a part of.
