Hi Friends & Family,
I’m officially signed up for the Ithaca Polar Plunge — yes, the one where people voluntarily run into icy cold Cayuga Lake — all to support Special Olympics New York. ❄
I’m doing this because Special Olympics NY provides year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities, creating opportunities for confidence, inclusion, and pure joy. It’s an incredible cause, and I’m proud (and slightly terrified) to be part of it.
Here’s where you come in.
My fundraising goal is $500, and every single dollar helps make a real impact. Whether it’s $5, $25, or more, your support truly matters.
To sweeten the deal, I’m willing to do just about anything (within reason ) to hit my goal — shoutouts, ridiculous cold-weather photos, social media dares, you name it. If you donate, feel free to include a suggestion… I may regret this later, but it’ll be worth it.
If you’re able to give, please consider donating and sharing this with others. If you can’t donate right now, cheering me on or spreading the word is just as appreciated.
Thank you for supporting me, for supporting this amazing cause, and for helping turn a freezing plunge into something truly meaningful.
With gratitude (and goosebumps),
