I am plunging for a purpose!
Hi everyone! I’m Emily, and I do the Polar Plunge every year. It is one of my favorite days ever. I get so excited to run into cold Lake Ontario with all my friends. The water is freezing, but my heart is warm.
I do the Polar Plunge because I love Special Olympics. It has changed my life, and I am very grateful every day for what I have been blessed with. I get to play sports, make friends, and feel proud of myself.
When you sponsor me, you help me and all the other athletes keep doing the sports we love. I feel brave when I jump in the cold water, and it makes me happy to help Special Olympics.
