Make a Difference

How your money and those who sponsor you makes an impact

Did you know that Special Olympics is the largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities? Your contribution helps with items like equipment, attire, and health supplies that can help transform an athlete's life.

Special Olympics New York provides inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to discover and unleash the champion within. Our athletes experience the thrill of competing in authentic sports. They overcome defeat, taste victory and stay active for life.

All of the money raised through the fundraising efforts will help provide and ensure year-round sports training and competition as well as leadership, health and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities in your community.

Throughout the year, fundraising activities all across New York bring communities together to support the dreams and goals of neighbors, friends and family members living with intellectual disabilities.
Your participation in these activities is a vital part of our efforts to develop an inclusive environment that welcomes people of all intellectual abilities.
