The Binghamton Polar Plunge

Gather your family, grab your friends, double-dare your co-workers and start a Polar Plunge Team! You can also join us as an individual if you like, just be ready to get wet!
Collect donations to help sponsor your plunge in support of local Special Olympics New York athletes. Every dollar donated makes a difference! Be a hero and raise $500 by November 1st, to sponsor a local Special Olympic Athlete—including State Game experience. Your name will go on the back of our official Plunge hoodies!
What to expect this year, there are 3 options to Plunge:
- Slide in if you raise over $300!
- Jump in!
- Walk in from the beach!
Get your school involved in the Cool School Challenge! You could win a pizza party, Cool School trophy, school's logo on the back of next year's hoodie, AND ultimate bragging rights!
Plunge Cup:The top fundraising first responder team will win the Plunge Cup trophy, and the opportunity to carry in the "Flame of Hope" with Special Olympics New York athletes on the day of the Plunge.
Team Banner:Be a banner team! Raise $1,500 by Friday,October 4th, and receive a custom Plunge Banner to parade into the water with!
